Saj restaurant in Oklahoma City is a hidden gem that takes you on a delightful journey through Mediterranean flavors. The moment we walked in, we felt welcomed by the warm and welcoming atmosphere, setting the stage for a memorable dining experience.

The menu at Saj is a fantastic mix of Mediterranean and Middle Eastern dishes, all crafted with care and authenticity. We kicked off our culinary experience with the chicken Shawarma sandwich—a mouthwatering combination of tender, seasoned chicken wrapped in soft, warm pita bread and generously drizzled with a creamy garlic sauce. Being a sauce lover, I could not resist getting an extra side of that delicious garlic sauce to dip my fries into!

Speaking of fries, they were perfectly golden and crispy, making a great companion to the flavorful sandwich. This dish alone showed off the chef’s knack for blending spices and textures to perfection.

To end on a sweet note, we were treated to a classic baklava—a heavenly pastry with layers of flaky phyllo dough, nuts, and honey. Each bite was a perfect blend of sweet and nutty flavors, leaving us completely satisfied.

The service at Saj was top-notch. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable, guiding us through the menu and making sure our dining experience was nothing short of excellent.
